The perfect solution to a scarf!!! My kids are always coming home with a scarf that is either dirty, wet or just not serving the purpose it is meant to. I made these adorable neck warmers for my kids and find they are so much better. They just slip on right over their head and that’s it! This pattern is for a child size. You may easily alter it by making your initial chain longer to accommodate the size you wish to achieve!
***using a 5mm hook***
– ch 70 (ch 90 for an adult size)
– Connect last ch to first ch w/slip stitch to make a ring
– ch 2
– Dc around; end row with sl st in the top of your ch 2
– ch2
– dc around; continue this pattern for 15 rounds (30 for adult size)
– sl st to close, fasten off, secure ends with yarn needle
