crochet pattern with pictures and video tutorial help screens for this mermaid tail blanket

This crochet mermaid tail blanket is available in a written pattern through my Etsy shop (click here).  There is not a full project video tutorial available at this time for this pattern, however, there are stitch tutorial help screens that will show you how to do specific stitches in this pattern (crocodile stitch & shell stitch).  The rest of the stitches in this pattern are basic stitches, however, if you are a beginner and you would like to have video tutorials for the other stitches in this written pattern to follow along with and use as help to complete this project, you can click here to open up my stitch tutorials for those as well.  I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I have!!

materials needed:

  • 5 mm crochet hook
  • Yarn of your choice; for this blanket I used;

Caron simply soft 315 yards (I used 5)

Note:  this pattern was used for a size made to be used by a 7 year old.
