One of the most common questions I get in my video tutorials is asking for instructions on how to do a different size so I thought it would be a good idea to show how I use a size chart to do just that!! Another popular comment is “I followed your video and my hat was way too big” only to then find out through conversation that the viewer was using a completely different yarn or hook (or both) than what my pattern called for!! I, like many others, understand the desire to use up left over yarn or to find a yarn that’s so beautiful but completely different than the pattern I had in mind – in those moments, I turn to my size chart.
