DIY how to crochet a ribbed circle scarf
This was the very first crochet project I ever learned to do! I absolutely love it as a classic, seasonal “go to” as well as making the perfect gift. The one you will see in the video was made for a child. If you are making one for an adult I would suggest doing more rows to make it wider.

Free Pattern:
***using a 5mm crochet hook***
This pattern is for a child age 2-3; to make a larger one just make your starting chain longer.
– ch 120
– dc in each ch starting in the second from the hook
– ch2 & turn
– fpdc across
– at end finish with reg dc, ch2 & turn
– fpdc; continue this pattern for a total of 7 rows
– ch1 & turn
– sc in each st across
– fold work in half lining up ends, put 1sc in each st across
– end with sl st and weave tail into work with yarn needle for clean finish; fasten off.
