
Keeping the momentum going with learning new stitches, I thought it would be a great idea to share a new stitch tutorial I have just recently posted on my YouTube channel with you!! FP.DC is how you will probably see it in written patterns. This stands for front post double crochet. It’s a great stitch for those cozy cold weather accessories. Some of the most popular ways you’ll see this stitch being used would be in patterns that have a ribbing texture, especially scarves and the cuff or trim of sweaters. I love the durability of this stitch, it’s ability to be stretched and bounce right back is why I find a need for this stitch in a lot of my cold weather cozy patterns as those tend to be stretched and pulled the most with layering.
