free crochet pattern for this ribbed hat with pom pom
This hat is so super cozy and warm. The pom pom was ordered online so for this complete look you’ll need to find a pom pom you like. I ordered mine off of Amazon and got cash back by shopping on Amazon through Ebates.
For the rest of the pattern you will need: 
5mm crochet hook
Caron Simply Soft yarn
Yarn needle
Scissors
* ch.55
* hdc in 2nd ch from hook & each ch down row (54)
* ch.1 & turn work
* *fp hdc all the way down the row, hdc in last stitch (54)
* ch.1 & turn work*
* repeat to for 52 rows
* Line up both long edges & attach with slip stitches all the way down to create a seam
* ch.1, sc evenly all the way around (54) close with slip stitch & ch.1
* sc dec, sc … repeat all the way around, cl. with slip stitch
* Cut long tail & use yarn needle to weave in and out of stitches, pull like slip stitch, sew tail end through stitches to secure top of hat,
* flip hat the right way, secure pompom to the top of the hat with yarn of same colour and yarn needle
